Chris Pratt Shares First Photo From New Sci-Fi Film The Tomorrow War

It looks like Star-Lord has returned to Earth and is fighting ... aliens all over again. Chris Pratt has just shared the first image from his new sci-fi film The Tomorrow Wars.

Pratt shared the photo on his official Instagram account along with an explanation as to why the title has been changed. Check it out below.

The project was initially titled Ghost Draft because, well, it's sort of about previously dead soldiers being drafted for a war against aliens. Unfortunately, Pratt claims that they had some trouble with the title and had to come up with a different one. The hilarious suggestions (which are probably from Pratt himself) include Saving private Ryaalien, WWZ2 but with As not Zs (because aliens, not zombies), and HERO movie brought to you by Verizon.

Luckily, they ultimately settled for The Tomorrow War. We're not sure who came up with that but Pratt might want to take credit for it.

The film also stars Yvonne Strahovski, J. K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Theo Von, Jasmine Mathews, Keith Powers, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Edwin Hodge, Seychelle Gabriel, Alan Trong, Chibuikem Uche, Alexis Louder, and
Mike Mitchell. It is currently in production although it hasn't been given a release date yet. Nevertheless, Pratt promises to share more photos and details so stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Pratt might be working on The Tomorrow War for now but fans are already hoping that Star-Lord will return really soon. However, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 isn't set to begin production until director James Gunn completes work on his current project The Suicide Squad.
