Chris Evans Says Avengers: Endgame Is 'Special'

There is little doubt that Avengers 4 is going to be amazing. Nevertheless, Chris Evans wants fans to know that Avengers: Endgame will be truly "special."

Evans recently took to Twitter in celebration of the release of the Endgame trailer. Interestingly, the Avengers: Infinity War star somehow revealed that although he has worked on several Marvel Cinematic Universe flicks, the next movie is going to be different. Take a look at his tweet below.

"This one is special. You guys have no idea..." Evans wrote. Needless to say, people believe the Captain America: Civil War star considering the emotional message he had previously posted on social media.

Fans are still reeling from Evans' cryptic tweet where it seemed like he was saying goodbye to the MCU. Although the actor and Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo have confirmed that Captain America will be back, some aren't quite convinced just yet. For now, we'll have to wait for the premiere of the fourth Avengers film to discover Steve Rogers' fate.

The Endgame trailer already teases on Steve playing a large role. After all, most of the new footage focuses on Steve mourning and somehow placing all his hope on a new plan. Let's hope that the survivors will find a way to defeat Thanos next year.

Fans are certainly in for a treat now that Endgame has been given a new release date. The film has been moved up to an earlier premiere, which means that the wait will not be too long.

Evans returns (for the last time?) in Avengers: Endgame, which will hit theaters on April 26, 2019.
