Chris Evans Admits Missing Captain America Role in MCU Flicks

It has been over a year since the premiere of Avengers: Endgame and people are undoubtedly missing Captain America. Interestingly, fans are not the only ones who want to see more of Steve Rogers. Chris Evans has just admitted that he misses playing the Marvel Cinematic Universe character.

Evans recently spoke to Backstage about his career and it was no surprise that his work on the MCU flicks was brought up. The Knives Out star stated that it was a truly enjoyable experience that he misses.

"I absolutely loved my time with Marvel; I already miss it," Evans said.

So does this mean Evans is eager to reprise this role in another MCU movie? Sadly, it looks like the Fantastic Four actor is ready to put all that behind him.

"There's no denying that it is very exciting to just have complete freedom to pursue whatever my creative appetite wants," Evans said.

Unfortunately, fans will need to accept that Steve is gone and won't be making any more appearances in the MCU. On the other hand, we can now look forward to seeing Evans in exciting new projects in the future.

There have been speculations that Steve might show up in the upcoming MCU flick Black Widow along with Robert Downey Jr,'s Tony Stark. However, both cameos have not yet been confirmed by Marvel Studios. In the meantime, you can still see Evans in action by rewatching Endgame on Disney+.
