It has been some time since we got any real updates on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3 but we finally have a short but deadly teaser announcing the show's return date.

The teaser doesn't show much but there's some smoke rising in the darkness. As a mysterious voice says, "Welcome to Hell," Sabrina emerges in her red cloak.

Sure, there's not much to go on here but we're presented with the third season's official release date next year. At least we know that we're off to a good start in 2020.

The idea of going to Hell isn't exactly a surprise. In the second season finale, Nick Scratch sacrificed himself to become a vessel that would imprison the Dark Lord and was brought to Hell. Not surprisingly, Sabrina and her friends vowed to save him. But will they manage to get the Dark Lord out of Nick and bring him back safely? We'll have to wait until January to find out.

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa had previously confirmed what would happen in Part 3. “I think it’s safe to say that we are going to Hell, yes,” he admitted. “We’re going to Hell. It’s very fun. It’s very fun. It’s dangerous, but it’s really fun.”

The third season will bring back Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, Gavin Leatherwood, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Richard Coyle, and Miranda Otto. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Part 3 will premiere on Netflix on January 24, 2020.
