Chewbacca Actor Recreates The Mandalorian Theme With Hilarious Results

There is little doubt that everyone is hyped up about The Mandalorian Season 2 after the release of the new chapter's first trailer. In addition to that, fans are loving the idea that the Star Wars series nabbed several awards at the Emmys. With that in mind, Chewbacca actor Joonas Suotamo wanted to pay tribute to the Disney+ show by doing his own cover of the Ludwig Goransson theme. The result is both hilarious and adorable.

Suotamo posted his cover of the Mandalorian theme on his official Twitter account along with an awesome caption. Check it out below.

"I wanted to congratulate the fantastic cast and crew of #TheMandalorian for their Emmy wins, so I gathered my family band to play a tune that you might recognize. It went... okay," Suotamo wrote before tagging @starwars, @themandalorian, @disneyplus, and @ludwiggoransson.

We're loving the idea that Suotamo's own little Wookiee is getting into the music as well. Hopefully, they'll do more rehearsals and perfect that cover.

For now, it is unclear if Suotamo will continue playing Chewbacca considering that the Skywalker Saga is over. On the other hand, there have been speculations that Chewie could be brought back in a Solo: A Star Wars Story spin-off series that will focus on the criminal syndicate that appeared in the film. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on October 30.
