Charlie Cox Set To Return As Daredevil In Future MCU Films

The campaign to save Daredevil may have worked on Marvel Studios and Disney. A new report reveals that Charlie Cox is already getting ready to return as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen in future Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

The report comes from We Got This Covered, which cites several sources who confirmed that Marvel is already hoping to bring Cox back as Matt Murdock. Considering how much the Stardust star enjoyed playing the Man Without Fear, Cox's comeback is being considered "as good as confirmed."

This is definitely good news for fans who are hoping that they haven't seen the last of Daredevil. After all, the Netflix series ended with a third season that already teased on the future. In addition to Matt reuniting with Karen Page and Foggy Nelson, we also saw Benjamin 'Dex' Poindexter getting surgery to fix his spine. It would be great to see if Dex ultimately becomes Bullseye in the future but for now, we have to point out that Cox's return has not yet been announced.

Fans have been hoping that the characters of Netflix's discontinued Marvel shows will eventually cross over to the MCU. For one, people are pushing for Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle aka The Punisher to be introduced into the Marvel movies. These would be welcome ideas but we're still waiting for an official announcement so it's best to take these details with a grain of salt, at least for now.
