Captain Marvel Gets Her Own Children's Book


There is little doubt that Captain Marvel is special, considering that she is the first female superhero that will lead her own movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That's why it's no surprise that Carol Danvers is getting her own children's book that's expected to please her tiniest fans.

Penguin Random House has unveiled the awesome cover art for Captain Marvel's Little Golden Book (via ComicBook.com). Check it out below.

The description for Captain Marvel Little Golden Book reads as follows:

"Superhero Captain Marvel shows that she's out of this world in this action-packed Little Golden Book!
"Meet Marvel's out-of-this-world new superhero Captain Marvel as she uses her amazing powers of flight and super strength to fight alien threats to Earth! Boys and girls ages 2 to 5 will love this action-packed Little Golden Book as they learn about Captain Marvel–from her amazing origins to her friends and foes."

It's an awesome tie-in to the highly anticipated MCU flick that will introduce Carol to young fans. There is also a possibility that the Little Golden Book will contain some potential spoilers from Captain Marvel since it could reveal interesting new details about Carol's origin story.

The Captain Marvel Little Golden Book is written by John Sazaklis and illustrated by Penelope R. Gaylord. The book is expected to be available ahead of the movie's premiere to give children some time to meet Carol before her big screen debut.

The Little Golden Book will be available starting January 8, 2019. Captain Marvel will hit theaters on March 9, 2019.
