Birds Of Prey Trailer To Drop During Spider-Man: Far From Home Re-Release

People are already expecting to see the official Birds of Prey trailer and it looks like it will be dropped along with a completely different comic book movie. A new report reveals that fans will get their first glimpse at Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) during the Spider-Man: Far From Home re-release during Labor Day weekend.

It was previously confirmed that the extended cut of Far From Home will be released in theaters along with about four minutes on never-before-seen footage. Interestingly, Comicbook.com reports that one of the trailers that will be featured during the screening is the first teaser for Birds of Prey. However, Sony has not yet confirmed if the trailer will be dropped along with the Spider-Man movie.

Interestingly, a Birds of Prey teaser was actually leaked online earlier today. The teaser starts out as an It: Chapter 2 trailer but is revealed to be the brief promo for the Suicide Squad spin-off film. There are quick scenes showing Harley Quinn, Black Canary and Huntress in action as well as a glimpse at a hooting Black Mask.

Unfortunately, the teaser has since been taken down from social media. Nevertheless, fans are hoping that the trailer will be made available online soon after the re-release of Far From Home.

The synopsis for Birds of Prey reads as follows:

"Since the events of Suicide Squad, Batman has disappeared, leaving Gotham City unprotected from crime, and Harley Quinn has left the Joker. When Cassandra Cain, a young girl, comes across a diamond belonging to crime lord Black Mask, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to help protect her."

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is scheduled for release on February 7.
