Avengers: Endgame Theory On How Ant-Man Will Defeat Thanos Is Gross And Hilarious

People have their own theories on how the universe will be saved in Avengers: Endgame. However, one particular theory is gaining momentum thanks to Ant-Man's confirmed return in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. Interestingly, even Paul Rudd is baffled by the gross and hilarious idea.

Back in July 2018, Rudd was presented with a tweet that insinuated Ant-Man's absence from Avengers: Infinity War was because of his ability to crawl up Thanos' butt and "instantly growing in size." The Endgame actor hilariously denied it because it might not go over well with Disney and he certainly doesn't want to go up against Josh Brolin.

Although the idea is almost a year old, people have once again taken to social media declaring that Ant-Man will be the hero in Endgame. Needless to say, the tweets are mostly gross and collectively hilarious.

The theory is so widespread that fans in Brazil have reportedly started a petition begging Ant-Man to, er, take on for the team, so to speak.

It's highly unlikely that Scott Lang would even consider doing the stunt, even if it could mean saving the entire universe. Of course, you'll have to remember that Endgame is still a Disney film and off-color jokes probably won't be a good fit. Nevertheless, we're looking forward to seeing Ant-Man in action this April.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
