It looks like Marvel Studios is making sure fans are hyped up for the premiere of Avengers: Endgame. Although there hasn't been a new full-length trailer released so far, there is no shortage on promos and TV spots with some interesting new footage. The latest promo for the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick finally offers a brief glimpse at Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie as well as a horrifying encounter between Iron Man and Thanos.
The teaser, which was released yesterday, previews what will happen in five days. Thanos also reveals what he will do when he finally gets rid of the Avengers. "After I kill you, I'm going to burn this annoying little planet into cinders," the Mad Titan claims.
There is a brief shot of Valkyrie smiling as well as a quick look at a tearful Pepper Potts. However, the most powerful scene in the teaser is Iron Man being tossed aside and the suit falling into pieces as it hits the ground.
We're hoping that the armor was empty when that happened. Otherwise, this could explain the promo that claims Endgame is the end of Tony Stark's journey.
For now, we're not focusing on the possibly depressing parts of Endgame. Instead, let's rejoice at the idea that Valkyrie is back and ready to join the fight against Thanos.
The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:
"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
