There is little doubt that the recently leaked image from Avengers: Endgame is getting people hyped for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. After all, the photo features the original six Avengers in their new costumes. But is it possible that the picture also showed us a clue on how the survivors will ultimately defeat Thanos? The heroes' secret weapon might actually be hidden in plain sight.
The leaked Endgame team photo gives us a pretty good look at a strange device strapped to Black Widow's wrist. According to ComicBook.com, this particular device has already been spotted in several set photos as being worn by Natasha Romanoff's teammates as well. Take a look at the image below.
But what exactly is that thing? There are speculations that it might be the survivors' nifty gadget that will help them in time travel. Some even believe that Scott Lang might be the one to show them how to build it based on his experiences in the Quantum Realm.
Black Widow's new accessory isn't the only thing that fans noticed about the image. People also pointed out that it looks like Bruce Banner might finally merge with Hulk to create Professor Hulk in Endgame. Although these are all great ideas that could make things more interesting this year, it's still based on speculation so it would be best to take the information with a grain of salt.
The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:
"After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store."
