Fans are already wary of Avengers: Endgame and its possible body count following the decimation that made everyone weep in Avengers: Infinity War. However, it looks like Loki's death is nothing compared to what Thanos has in store for us this April. A new leak has revealed that the Mad Titan will murder yet another major character and it's someone that is truly important to the Avengers.

There are already speculations that Endgame will mean the end for more characters. However, a source has revealed to We Got This Covered that Thanos himself will be taking another significant life. According to the source, the Mad Titan will, in fact, kill Captain America instead of Tony Stark.
This is certainly shocking news but not much of a surprise. After all, tennis star Serena Williams had somehow suggested that Steve Rogers will bite the dust in Endgame. The death of Captain America is definitely one way to push the Avengers into action (and effectively enrage fans). However, people can rest assured that there's a new Captain who will be joining the fight this year.
The arrival of Captain Marvel is certainly a glimmer of hope in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But can Carol Danvers take over after Steve's passing? We'll have to wait until Endgame to be sure.
