People are already expecting that Avengers: Endgame will have the heroes traveling back in time to save their companions. But just how far back in the past are they going? The film's cast list may have revealed that the film is headed for an era that has yet to be visited by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The new details about the Avengers: Endgame cast list can be found on IMDb, which includes some interesting characters. The page somehow confirms that Iron Man 3 star Ty Simpkins will reprise his role as Tony Stark's young friend Harley Keener. However, it's the smaller details that seem to count. The list happens to include minor characters like "70's Car Girl #1" as well as "1970's Scientist / Lab Worker".

So does this mean that the survivors are going back to the time of disco and bell bottoms? If this is true, it will be the first time that the MCU is visiting the 1970s. The closest any Marvel film has gone to the 70s has been in the flashback sequence in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 with Meredith Quill and Ego. (That scene was set in 1980).

For now, it is still unclear if the details are true. After all, anyone can easily edit the information on IMDb. We'll have to wait until Marvel Studios makes an official announcement about this. In the meantime, we recommend taking the information with a grain of salt.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled for release on April 26.
