AMC Reportedly Hosting 22-Film MCU Marathon Ahead Of Avengers: Endgame Premiere

What's the best way to prepare for Avengers: Endgame? If you're thinking that a marathon is required, you may be in luck. A new report suggests that AMC Theaters is planning to screen all 22 Marvel Cinematic Universe films before the premiere of Endgame.

According to MCU Cosmic, the AMC Theaters website is currently promoting a truly lengthy marathon right before the Endgame premiere. The Marvel Studios 22-Movie Marathon is expected to show every MCU flick starting from 2008's The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man all the way to this year's Captain Marvel on April 23.

This isn't the first time that AMC Theaters showed several MCU movies in a short period. In 2018, Marvel Studios celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special IMAX screening of the MCU films up until Avengers: Infinity War.

The mega marathon might actually be a great way to prepare for Endgame. After all, it was previously reported that the 23rd MCU movie could have a lengthy runtime. There is a possibility that Endgame could have a 182-minute running time, which makes it over three hours long. However, Disney has not yet confirmed the runtime so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
