No Plans For Fantastic Four Joining The MCU, Says Kevin Feige

While promoting Spider-Man: Homecoming, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has been talking about the MCU, including whether Venom will be in the MCU, if they're considering R-rated Marvel films, if there will ever be a Marvel TV crossover, and the Marvel vs. DC rivalry. Now, Feige answered whether or not there are plans for them to bring the Fantastic Four to the MCU.

Speaking to AlloCine, Feige said, "[We have] no plans with the Fantastic Four right now. No discussions about it."

The film rights for Fantastic Four are owned by Fox right now so Disney would have to either make some kind of deal with them or purchase the rights from them, and apparently, it looks like that won't happen in the near future.

Josh Trank's Fantastic Four film bombed at the box office and has been considered to be one of the worst superhero films ever created. If Fox doesn't reboot the franchise anytime soon, the rights might return to Marvel.
