Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass Numbers Rise Due to COVID-19 Lockdown

With most people forced to stay at home due to the Coronavirus, gamers found an excuse to finally play and complete some of their games. It makes a ton of sense since they have so much free time and is a nice alternate option to watching Disney+ or Netflix. Though it's not as popular as the PS4 or Nintendo Switch, it seems like there's a big resurgence in Xbox One gaming since the numbers for Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass have risen due to, you guessed it, the Coronavirus.

Microsoft themselves confirmed that their numbers for these services have surged since this virus has been affecting everyone. It's a horrible situation but the excuse to play more video games isn't too bad since that gives us an outlet to make us forget this horrible COVID-19 situation. While it won't convince anyone to get an Xbox One anytime soon, it does show that this console still has some life to it.

Xbox Live is basically what can keep players online so that was naturally going to get some big numbers but Xbox Game Pass getting more subscribers is a great thing. Game Pass is such a great option for people since it lets them play a number of fantastic titles for $10 a month, which honestly feels like a gaming version of Netflix.

Fans can sign up for Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass right now. Nier Automata was recently added to Xbox Game Pass and that is an excellent game so try it out now.
