The WWE can often feel like a Marvel or DC affair, especially since heroes and villains take each other on in a show of athletic prowess. NXT Takeover: Toronto is going to feel like those comic books and more since fans of the brand know that some of the company's best talent get to showcase their skills here, usually to a wonderful payoff with consistent storytelling, which can't always be said in WWE.
We're now getting our third match between Johnny Gargano and NXT Champion Adam Cole, with the two putting on Five-Star matches before. This looks to be another case of them putting on a classic, especially in this 2 out of 3 Falls match, where each match type has a specific stipulation. Gargano has decided to show how pumped he is for the bout by wearing his Iron Man vest in the poster below.
Anyone who has seen the recent Takeover shows know that Gargano is a pretty big Marvel fan. The former NXT Champion has worn vests based on Thor, Venom, and Captain Marvel, among others. This Iron Man vest isn't exactly new but it is one of his best since, especially with the neat little arc reactor.
NXT Takeover: Toronto premieres this Saturday on the WWE Network.
