Tony Stark Will Be 'Very Present' in Spider-Man: Far From Home

Spider-Man: Far From Home is expected to be one of the more emotional MCU films, especially since the movie literally takes place moments after Avengers: Endgame. Peter Parker clearly had a great relationship with Tony Stark in this universe, with Peter clearly looking at Tony as a father figure, so it's gonna be sad not seeing Iron Man appear in this film or any future installments.

Or will he?

During ComicBook.com's press visit on the film's set, producer Eric Carroll stated that Tony Stark would somehow be present in this film, most likely in spirit as Peter remembers everything Tony told him. That or it could be something else, with some fans thinking that Tony will reappear as an AI on his glasses, which is why Peter was looking at them in that one trailer scene.

"His presence is very much felt. And [Peter] still obviously references this is the suit Tony gave him. Tony and Happy help him out in many ways along this movie — he's very present, he's just not in the movie."

This is a fairly interesting way of phrasing Tony being "there." While this could just mean a couple of flashbacks and a quick cameo, some fans are hoping that Tony returns as a full-blown AI assistant for Peter's costume. It's way too soon to tell if this happens but fans would be pretty happy about it.

Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 2.
