Tom Holland's Spider-Man 3 Reportedly Shooting This September

Despite an awkward few months of Sony and Marvel Studios breaking up, the two managed to find some common ground, agreeing to make a Spider-Man 3 with Tom Holland. Since then, we have all been waiting for a sequel to Far From Home, which is currently scheduled for release in November 2021. It seems like we might hear about a few new things soon since word around the web is that the movie will start shooting this September.

According to ComicBook.com, Sony is pushing for a September date to start shooting for the next MCU Spider-Man film, assuming no other delays are being made. Of course, this is all still tentative and will depend on the state of the world since COVID-19 is still running rampant, despite what some weird conspiracy theorists are going to tell you.

We obviously want to see more of Spider-Man 3 or whatever home-based name it will end up getting. The post-credits sequence to Far From Home was incredible, with Mysterio revealing Spider-Man's true identity to the whole world and we desperately want to see the fallout of that. Most of us were already expecting a longish wait, with Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals taking some priority but COVID-19 has made things much worse.

Information on the third part of this Spider-Man trilogy is unknown, though most of us are expecting a Mysterio return and maybe another villain or two. Some rumors suggested that Kraven the Hunter could be the next main baddie but that has yet to be confirmed. Either way, we're all interested in seeing how Peter deals with this identity crisis.

Spider-Man 3 will be coming out on November 2021.
