The Russo Brothers Will Never Release a Director's Cut of Their Marvel Movies

With a resume that includes Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, The Russo Brothers have definitely proven their worth as some of Marvel Studios' best directors. Now that Endgame is behind them, it seems like the duo is done with Marvel for now and are working on other geeky projects like Battle of the Planets.

Though their Marvel movies are considered top-tier, fans have been curious about a possible director's cut from them. After all, there are times when the studio wins and gets their way. However, The Russo Brothers seem to have made the films they wanted to make since they told fans during a Reddit AMA that there are no plans to release the director's cuts for their films and are more than happy with the products that hit theaters.

"Honestly no, we have always released the version of the movie we wanted to, so you would never see a director's cut of a Russo Brothers' Marvel movie because you have already seen it."

It's good to know that the duo made what they set out to create in the first place. The same thing can't always be said for other directors, as the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Extended Cut proved. Still, we're all very happy with the movies that Anthony and Joe Russo have worked on and we can't wait to see what else they're working on.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame are all available on Blu-ray and DVD.
