The Mandalorian Star Pedro Pascal Gives His Two Cents on The Rise of Skywalker Backlash

If you've seen Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, you either love or hate the movie. Sure, there are those who will think that it's an inoffensive blockbuster with good special effects but they will be on the minority when it comes to this subject. Interestingly enough, one person who has only ever seen the positivity in regards to the movie is The Mandalorian star, Pedro Pascal.

During an interview with Yahoo Movies UK, Pascal was asked about the backlash The Rise of Skywalker got from angry fans. The actor claims that he's only seen positivity surrounding the movie since he works at LucasFilm, which makes a ton of sense. If the guy were to look at Reddit or Twitter, that would be a whole different story but we should leave him be and let him like what he likes.

"I didn't feel that at all. The virtue of being neck-deep in work. Once you're in this world of Lucasfilm, you're only touching on the positive. You just deposit something. I saw no fence."

While we've ripped on this movie a few times, those that genuinely enjoy The Rise of Skywalker shouldn't be ashamed of the fact. For the most part, it's well-acted and has some good special effects. I personally think that the story is a huge disappointment but won't take the enjoyment away from others.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is now available on digital stores and is coming to Disney+ on May 4.
