The Mandalorian Season 2 Image Shows How Our Lead Character Has Changed

The Mandalorian Season 2 will be coming out on October 30 and fans are pumped about it. It's easily the best piece of Star Wars media to come from Disney and knowing that we'll be getting more Baby Yoda this year makes 2020 less bad (but still awful). While we are all excited to check out the new season, fans seem to have ignored the significant difference this season's promotional image has compared to the first one.

In the first official image of The Mandalorian, it was just our helmet-wearing protagonist walking by himself since, well, he's a loner. However, in the second promotional image, he is now walking side-by-side with Baby Yoda, who we will never call "The Child" because that's just lame. Anyway, The Mandalorian might not be the friendliest person out there but at least he's trying to get along with some people.

Also, Baby Yoda is the cutest thing ever made next to Pikachu. How can you hate that thing? I sure don't.

We're expecting a lot of different things to come from The Mandalorian Season 2, though it looks like this might suffer from the same symptoms that Daredevil Season 2 went through. The fact that Ahsoka Tano might be appearing is great for fans of The Clone Wars but if they focus this season on her and make the show feel like Ahsoka Tano Season Zero, that's not going to be good.

Basically, let's hope this won't just be a fan service season. It needs to be about The Mandalorian and his development as a person, like the image shows. The Mandalorian Season 2 will be coming out on October 30.
