The King's Man Has Been Delayed by Seven Months

The King's Man, a Kingsman spin-off, believe it or not, has unfortunately been delayed by seven months. Fans were looking forward to the prequel movie to see how the secret service started in the original film, with many calling it one of the more charming and well-made spy movies of recent memory (at least until the sequel came out).

So, why was this anticipated movie delayed yet again? According to The Hollywood Reporter, no official reason was given by Fox, now under Disney, but we'll now have to watch this prequel on September 18, 2020. This is actually the movie's second delay, originally set for a November 2019 release but then was rescheduled for February 2020 before, well, this delay.

While there is no official reason for the delay, we're going to assume that this was just some sort of scheduling thing since Disney is getting used to owning a company like Fox. This is still a real shame for those looking forward to the Matthew Vaughn-directed prequel to Kingsman but we're sure it will be worth the wait. Hopefully. That sequel could have been a lot better.

As a collection of history's worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King's Man.

The King's Man is now scheduled for a September 18, 2020 release.
