After looking at Fall 2019 as its release date for so long, fans will be happy to know that The CW's Batwoman finally has a premiere date; October 7 at 9pm ET. This is something that a lot of fans have been waiting for and it will be interesting to see how Ruby Rose's character is like, and if she can carry a show by herself after the most recent Elseworlds CW/DC crossover introduced the character.

Batwoman has been considered a bit controversial, starring one of DC's most popular LGBTQ characters. There was also some small controversy due to the fact that Ruby Rose is gender fluid, with some people feeling like she can't play a lesbian character since Rose doesn't identify as strictly female. It's a complicated matter but fans should just calm down and try to enjoy the show.

While she did debut as part of the Arrowverse's multiverse, the character won't be making any regular team-ups with characters from Arrow or The Flash. She is from a different Earth after all and it's obvious that we won't be seeing her interact with other DC characters until another big DC/CW crossover like the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Batwoman will premiere in The CW on October 7. Anyone else excited?
