The Best Crisis on Infinite Earths Cameo That Wasn't Ezra Miller

Crisis on Infinite Earths is over and many will agree that it was an amazing crossover, with tons of cameos and epic scenes that made it a DC fan's wet dream. Some crossovers fans ended up going gaga for included Brandon Routh's Kingdom Come Superman, Kevin Conroy's killer Batman, and Burt Ward's elderly Robin, to name a few. Of course, there was also Ezra Miller's Flash, which broke the internet since no one expected to see a DCEU/DC-CW crossover in this lifetime.

However, if you ask any hardcore comic book fan who had the best cameo, it was Marv Wolfman, who wrote the original Crisis on Infinite Earths maxi-series in the late ‘80s. He appears in Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 5 after the heroes seemingly fixed reality, asking Supergirl and Flash for an autograph, telling them to dedicate it to "Marv," which was the big giveaway.

Plenty of comic book fans are also loving the fact that he got the autographs of The Flash and Supergirl, two characters who died during the original events of the comic. Both characters sacrificed their lives to protect everyone, with Barry Allen destroying a base at maximum speed, while Supergirl fought the Anti-Monitor and died in the process.

Both characters would stay dead for years before they were resurrected, with Barry coming back during Final Crisis while Kara reemerged with a new origin in Batman/Superman.

Expect a future Blu-ray release for Crisis on Infinite Earths. Fans interested in the work of Marv Wolfman should check out the original Crisis story in comic book shops and bookstores.
