Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Gets a New Poster Before Star Wars Day

Guess what? It's already May. That means we're only a few days before May 4, a.k.a May the 4th be with you, a.k.a amazing Star Wars pun, a.k.a Star Wars Day. Due to the magnificence of that pun and other factors I'm ignoring, this is the day that most fans decide to rewatch the Star Wars saga, including the bad ones. Now that The Rise of Skywalker is coming to Disney+, the company has released a beautiful poster to commemorate the Skywalker Saga.

As fans can see, they manage to cram every important character into the poster. Classic heroes like Han Solo and Chewier are joined by prequel favorite Obi-Wan Kenobi, alongside Disney era characters like Finn and Poe Dameron. Plenty of love is also shown to Rey, Queen Amidalla, and Princess Leia while villains like Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and General Grievous look great in their menace.

While Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker take the most space, it is sad not seeing Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker anywhere here. Though he wasn't the best actor, there are a lot of people who enjoyed his performance during Revenge of the Sith and is what his design is based on in The Clone Wars. There's only so many characters you can put in a poster I suppose.

It's a solid way to celebrate May the 4th or Star Wars Day so here's hoping that Disney and LucasFilm release physical versions of this that we can put on our walls. Any Star Wars fan would love to have one.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is coming to Disney+ on Star Wars Day, or May the 4th if you prefer. The movie is also available on digital stores now.
