We might be seeing Luke Skywalker as a Force Ghost in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker soon but it looks like more adventures featuring the character are coming, this time in manga form. While Luke will still be a constant presence in Marvel’s Star Wars comics, especially with a big relaunch coming in January, fans will be pleased to know that Viz Media is publishing Star Wars: Legends of Luke Skywalker: The Manga for a 2020 Western release.
Legends of Luke Skywalker is an anthology of Star Wars stories from some of the biggest names in manga, including Akira Himekawa, who created the successful The Legend of Zelda manga series. Some of the talents include Haruichi, Akira Fukaya, Takashi Kisaki and Subaru so it will be interesting to see how these Japanese talents handle this acclaimed Western character.
