Star Wars: Resistance Reveals How The First Order Took Over the Galaxy

Ever since the new Star Wars trilogy started, fans have been wondering how exactly The First Order was able to take over the galaxy. It had been years since The Resistance had finally beaten The Empire, so to see the status quo rectified in a new movie was a bit surprising for some. Well, the latest episode of Star Wars: Resistance has actually revealed how The First Order were able to take over the galaxy so quickly and it's one hell of a plan.

Thanks to a crucial holo-map that Kaz stole, it's revealed that The First Order had hidden a number of their armada in unknown regions of the galaxy where even The Resistance wouldn't know how to find them. This area of space is largely inaccessible, closed off by a labyrinth of solar storms, rogue magnetospheres, black holes, gravity wells, and things far stranger. The First Order had inherited secret star-charts of the Unknown Regions from the Empire, so were able to hide their fleets.

With The First Order having fleets around unknown parts of the galaxy, with star-charts that helped them find their way around, it's revealed that their plan was to attack multiple places at once. This way, it would be hard for The Resistance and anyone else to fight back, especially with the numbers they amassed.

It's a pretty sadistic plan and one that worked since The Force Awakens does start with them taking over. That could mean a sad fate for our Resistance characters but things could always change. Hell, some characters from Rebels managed to survive the original trilogy.

Star Wars: Resistance airs on Disney XD.
