Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Has a Dumb 'Execute Order 66' Easter Egg

You had to know that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order would have some sort of easter egg about Order 66. After all, the game literally follows a young Jedi who survived that massacre and ended up becoming a hero, at least to some people. The game has only been out for a few days and fans are already discovering some things about it, including the aforementioned Order 66 easter egg.

Garbett, a gamer on YouTube, posted a video of this Jedi: Fallen Order easter egg and, to be completely honest, it's kind of dumb. Near the beginning of the game, Cal gets a vision to follow his friend somewhere before the train door shuts on his face. The game would have your character head towards the opposite direction but if you press the train door 66 times, you'll hear Palpatine say "execute Order 66."

Meh.

We understand that the developers at Respawn couldn't help themselves at having a little fun in the player's expense but don't do this. Judging from the video, there doesn't seem to be any sort of achievement for getting the easter egg, so this is only for those that want to hear some Palpatine voice before The Rise of Skywalker comes out.

At least Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a really good game. While not perfect, fans are quite shocked to see a competent single-player Star Wars game from EA after Battlefront and Battlefront II failed to impress some gamers. Maybe if EA made more games like this, people wouldn't hate them so much.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
