Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Coke Cans Aren't Allowed on Airports

Star Wars might be a family-friendly franchise with a ton of merchandise that appeals to people of all ages but it looks like the whole "wars" part can bite the series hard sometimes. While most people wouldn't bat an eye when they talk about the series' characters or movies, it looks like a cool bit of marketing has got people talking in a slightly negative light. You see, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge has coke cans that look like grenades, which has proven to be a problem.

There was a fan who recently asked TSA if they could bring any of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge coke cans to a TSA airport. Unsurprisingly, TSA stated that replica explosives are not allowed in the flight, including these Coca-Cola cans. This is a bit of a bummer for those that wanted to bring these homes but it's understandable as to why they are banned.

We're not going to mock TSA for this since all airports have the right to be paranoid when it comes to luggage. You don't want to start a commotion when you're traveling overseas so this is something everyone should follow, even if it means that we can't bring neat souvenirs home.

Honestly, it's kind of a shame since these Star Wars coke cans look awesome. It's a shame that they actually look like real explosives but you have to give it an A for effort when the design is being discussed.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is now available for riding. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be coming to theaters on December 20.
