Fans were very enthusiastic when Star Wars Episode I: Racer got a re-release on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, letting fans re-experience the fun and clunky nature of this racing gem. It only has a digital release thus far but a physical edition from Limited Run Games is coming and they are giving fans some really cool options. It doesn't matter if you're a Switch or PS4 fan since the Classic and Collector's Editions will be available for both consoles.
The Classic Edition of Star Wars Episode I: Racer, which has a cool replication box of the N64 original, along with a non-functioning cartridge for the sake of authenticity. You also get a reversible poster and a standard edition of the game so if you're an N64 veteran, we don't know why you wouldn't choose this version of Racer. However, if you want more, there is the Collector's Edition.
In addition to all of the cool stuff from the Classic Edition, fans that get the Collector's Edition of Racer will also get a fancy steelbook case, a booklet filled with retrospective essays, a metal coin, and a pin of Anakin's flag. That is a lot of awesome stuff and we're sure fans will want to get their hands on this edition.
Star Wars Episode I: Racer Classic Edition is $59.99 while the Collector's Edition is $89.99. Both versions will be available from Limited Run Games on July 10. Those that just want the game can pick up Racer right now on the Switch eShop and PlayStation Store.
