Star Wars Battlefront II is Bringing Back 'Instant Action' Single-Player Mode in September

After teasing the return of some good old single-player gaming, EA has confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront II will be bringing back Instant Action, a single-player mode from the older Battlefront games. This is very good news for those not pleased with the game's story mode or arcade mode, so fans that want to enjoy Battlefront II alone will be able to do so in September.

Like all of the new content for this game, Instant Action will be a free update so fans won't have to spend a dime to enjoy it. EA and DICE are really doing their best to win back some positive feedback and we have to give it to them, bringing modes back that players enjoyed is pretty cool.

For those unaware of Instant Action, it is a large scale game mode that has players taking on the Supremacy element of the planetary phase of Capital Supremacy by themselves. It might not sound too exciting but when there's bad wi-fi, this gives Star Wars players something else to do.

While this won't be replacing the excitement many have for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a pure single-player experience, you have to appreciate that long-time fans are getting this for free. I know that a lot of gamers will never forgive EA for their policies, and no one can blame them, but it looks like they're trying to change and we should give them a chance.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
