Black Cat might be dead and Hammerhead is making everyone in New York know that he's back with a vengeance in Spider-Man: Turf Wars, the second DLC expansion of Insomniac's acclaimed Spider-Man game, aka Spider-Man PS4. This new story chapter adds new story missions, more creatively difficult Screwball challenges, and some of the game's best costumes to date, including the original Iron Spider.
The launch trailer for Turf Wars is another great Just the Facts video narrated by J. Jonah Jameson Jr, who details how Hammerhead is taking over the city with Silver Sable's leftover weapons and the pressure Yuri Watanabe feels from all of the cop deaths. It's one of the grimmer chapters of the game bar-none, with Jameson accusing Spidey of playing around with Screwball and making new costumes.
While Jameson does come across like a jerk, he is right about one thing; all of this was due to Kingpin being dethroned by Spider-Man. Granted, Spidey couldn't just let Wilson Fisk get away with his crimes but the natural power struggle that was caused by Fisk's absence has happened and some of it is Spidey's responsibility.
Fans can download Spider-Man: Turf Wars now as part of the City That Never Sleeps Pass. It is the second chapter of this all-new DLC story, taking place right after the events of last month's Black Cat story, The Heist. These stories are set to conclude in December's Silver Lining, which will either have Silver Sable's return or the debut of Silvermane.
