Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Almost Had a More Gruesome Death for Blonde Peter Parker


Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will go down in history as one of the most visually striking films ever made, whilst also being a great movie in its own right. While it did have its fair share of superhero shenanigans, the film also had some really great characters, smart jokes, and really dark moments that shocked many, one of those moments being the death of blonde Peter Parker.

In the movie, Blonde Peter was killed by Kingpin after taking the multiverse laser head-on. Turns out that the original premise had Peter being killed by that same laser and it would have been really gruesome. Apparently, the lasers would have ripped the skin of Peter, so let's be thankful that didn't happen.

on This was revealed Alberto Mielgo, an animator who was hired by Sony to direct the film's animation test. He revealed this on his Vimeo page, where the animator also confirmed that a number of scenes made were kept in the final product, which Mielgo is thankful for.
