Spider-Man: Far From Home's Daily Bugle Gets its Own Website and a New J. Jonah Jameson Video

Enough time has passed that we can talk about Spider-Man: Far From Home spoilers, particularly the post-credits sequence that has Mysterio telling the world that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. If that wasn't eventful enough, J.K. Simmons made his return as J. Jonah Jameson and ran down Spider-Man while praising Mysterio, which is exactly what fans wanted from the character.

Sony has decided to double down on this move by launching a fictional Daily Bugle website that also has a new J. Jonah Jameson video. The website also has a number of cute details, like a headline about Night Monkey, asking if he's a foreign hero or another "menace," Jameson's favorite word when it comes to these wall-climbing superheroes.

This was probably done to drive the sales of Spider-Man: Far From Home Blu-rays, which we can't blame them for since the movie was great. Granted, some people might not support it anymore after the whole Disney debacle but let's wait and see what happens.

Honestly, this is a lot of effort from Sony to promote Spider-Man and could be proof that they will stick with this continuity when making their next movie. Granted, Peter Parker won't be in the MCU anymore but we're sure they'll find a way to keep Mysterio's actions intact. After all, if you ignore a bombshell like that, why would you even want to make a new Spider-Man movie.

Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on Blu-ray on October 1.
