Sony's Silver and Black Spider-Man Spin-off Could End Up Being a Show Instead of a Movie

Silver and Black, the weird Sony/Marvel movie that will star Silver Sable and Black Cat, might be getting reworked into a television series. Fans know that the movie was taken off Sony's production schedule, which likely has to do with getting a proper script that will entertain people and a number of fans assumed that this ill-fated concept would be thrown in the dumpster. That isn't the case since rumor has it that Sony will try to turn this into a series.

The rumor from FandomWire states that changes were made due to Sony working on a number of Spider-Man-based shows. Since these characters are always associated with Spider-Man, it would make some sense to try and make this a television show, rather than a movie. Personally, I'd rather they focus on a solo Black Cat project since Silver Sable is nowhere near as interesting.

Last time we heard from Silver and Black, Gina Prince-Bythewood was going to direct, though no major casting announcements were revealed. That's still the case now since very little has been shown of this team-up experiment. I suppose Morbius being a success would help since it will get people to give these Sony/Marvel movies more of a chance but let's wait and see.

Remember; Venom made a ton of money and is getting a sequel. If Morbius does well, we wouldn't be too shocked to see Silver and Black, or some other Spider-Man character, get another shot at stardom.

Morbius is currently slated for a July 31 release.
