Shooting for Fantastic Beasts 3 Has Been Postponed Due to Coronavirus Concerns

Despite the second movie getting a mixed reaction, Warner Bros was still set on releasing a Fantastic Beasts 3 and continue the story of Newt, Dumbledore, and Grindelwald. Word was that the movie was going to shoot this week so that they could make their November 2021 release but something bigger has temporarily ruined those problems. That's right, the good old Coronavirus is here to make sure no one has fun, delaying the production of yet another film.

The good folks at Deadline have confirmed that the unnamed Fantastic Beasts 3 is the latest movie to delay its production due to concerns of COVID-19 infections. We don't blame anyone for doing this since we all just want to be safe but it really is disheartening to see so many films affected by this outbreak.

Anyone else looking forward to the day that we can all laugh about this? I sure am. Until then, expect more delays for any upcoming movies. Even a couple of movie releases are bound to be affected, though we'll have to wait and see.

Not much has been revealed about Fantastic Beasts 3, though reports did claim that Jude Law's Dumbledore would play a bigger role in this movie. Considering that lame cliffhanger ending, this was more than expected. At the least, we can expect a fun performance from Jude Law.

Fantastic Beasts 3 is scheduled for November 12, 2021.
