FINALLY! After being delisted from the digital store for six years with plenty of demand from fans, the original comic book creators, and Edgar Wright, Ubisoft will finally do the right thing and re-release Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game - Complete Edition to modern consoles this holiday season. While no exact release date has been given, the game will be coming out on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia, and Nintendo Switch, making everyone happy.

Licensed games are always subject to being delisted since major properties are often sold to other developers or publishers. It’s why games like Transformers: Devastation or Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions cannot be found on digital stores anymore so seeing the Scott Pilgrim game get a re-release on modern consoles is the best.

The popular beat-em-up was revealed to be coming back for its 10th anniversary during the UbiForward event where Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake was also announced. Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley did say that he was in talks to bring the game back not too long ago and it looks like those conversations paid off.

As the title suggests, Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game - Complete Edition will have all of the DLC in one package. Granted, those DLC packs only include Knives Chau and Wallace Wells as extra playable characters but they do ensure that people have more choices when playing the game’s multiplayer.

Why do people like the Scott Pilgrim game so much? The wonderful visuals that perfectly capture the comic book’s style, an awesome soundtrack that will have people grooving for days, and addictive beat-em-up gameplay. While the game can get a bit on the hard side, even on Normal, this is still an incredible beat-em-up with so much love put into it and we cannot wait for this.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game - Complete Edition will be coming out this Holiday season on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia, and Nintendo Switch.
