Robert Kirkman's Invincible Series Lands Mark Hamill, Steven Yeun, and More

It might not be as big as The Walking Dead but Robert Kirkman's Invincible is considered by many to be one of the finest superhero comics ever made. This is why it's not too surprising to know that Amazon showed interest and we're now getting an animated series based on the popular comic. Well, we now know a number of the series' cast members and it sure is star-studded.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), J.K. Simmons (Counterpart), Sandra Oh (Killing Eve), Seth Rogen (who is attached to the feature film take on Invincible), Gillian Jacobs (Love), Andrew Rannells (Black Monday), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Walton Goggins (Justified), Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Mae Whitman (Good Girls), Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley), Melise (The Flash), Kevin Michael Richardson (The Simpsons), Grey Griffin (Avengers Assemble) and Max Burkholder (Parenthood) are in the series.

As fans can see, that is one star-studded voice cast featuring some of the industry's best talent. Getting Steven Yeun and Mark Hamill was big enough, but adding Seth Rogen and Zazie Beetz, among others, is just the tip of the iceberg. It's clear that Amazon sees a lot of potential in this series, so let's hope the writing backs up all this money.

Invincible will premiere in Amazon sometime in 2020, with the first season having eight hour-long episodes.
