Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Gameplay Details Supposedly Leaked

Despite a poor announcement and the lack of any gameplay footage, fans have high expectations for the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game and it's release date are expected to be shown during Star Wars Celebration, which is only a day away, so it's easy to see why people are pumped. However, a massive leak has reportedly dished out the details on the game and how it will play.

According to a Reddit user who claims that a developer divulged details to him/her, the game will be a single-player hack-and-slash title similar to Dark Souls, with a story that will supposedly be canon to the main Star Wars universe. It will have no multiplayer options and is expected to be much longer than the pitiful five hours that Battlefront II's campaign had.

The developers reportedly made sure players would feel like Jedi, as the character will be able to wall run and do cool parkour moves. There will also be an emphasis on parrying, which is very similar to the From Software game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which might have been done on purpose. Then again, that game just came out, though it was in development for a while.

Not much was revealed plot-wise, though players will apparently have a backpack companion droid. Players will also have the opportunity to interact with famous Star Wars characters, though none of them were named.

One thing that raised eyebrows was the supposed use of Unreal Engine 4. With EA developing the Frostbite engine, why would they use Unreal Engine 4?

As usual, take these rumors with a grain of salt. Sounds exciting though eh?
