Pokemon: Twilight Wings has been one of the best things to come from the release of Sword and Shield, which says a lot since those two games are selling out more than Maroon 5. All jokes aside, the anime mini-series has given fans a lot to talk about and has made characters from the game much more compelling. Fans were looking forward to Twilight Wings Episode 5 but it looks like we're gonna have to wait a bit more for it.
The Pokemon Company officially announced that Twilight Wings Episode 5 would be delayed due to, you guessed it, COVID-19. Making these high-quality episodes must be harder due to the current climate where animators and voice actors are working from home where they are not used to this kind of workflow. It's a shame but we understand why this happened.
Besides, these episodes are free so it's not like we're paying them for a late product. I would totally buy a Blu-Ray that collects all of these episodes but that's a different topic for another time.
Fans won't have to wait too long since Pokemon: Twilight Wings Episode 5 will be coming to YouTube on June 5. Still, that's a whole month away and that can feel like an eternity, especially with the current epidemic making things deadly and boring for pretty much everyone involved. Oh well, at least we have some pretty Pokemon anime to look forward to.
