Pokemon GO Adds More Sinnoh Pokemon and New Evolutions

Pokemon GO is continuing to expand on monsters from the Sinnoh region, which will make a lot of people happy. Granted, fans would rather have a remake of Diamond and Pearl ala Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire but that could always come out after the RPG coming out this year. Anyway, Niantic has been doing fans a solid with these Sinnoh updates but fans might want to start stocking up on Sinnoh Stones.

Fans can now use Sinnoh Stones to evolve Lickitung into Lickilicky, Tangela into Tangrowth, and more. These Kanto Pokemon couldn't evolve back in the day so giving them evolved forms was a nice little push for these guys. This has been a pseudo-tradition for Pokemon ever since Gold and Silver came out so making these single-form Pokemon evolve wasn't too surprising.

Cranidos and Shieldon are now available to catch in the wild, with even more to come. If you're still playing the mobile game or are still thinking about it, you at least have some new monsters to catch. You may also see more Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region appearing in Eggs.

Lastly, Raid Battles are going to be much more difficult from here on out so players will need to get some of that candy. For those that are unaware, Pokemon GO has these creatures level up by using candy that is acquired from catching Pokemon that players already have.

Pokemon GO is available now on iOS and Android.
