Pokemon: Detective Pikachu Comes in Digital, Blu-Ray, and DVD Next Month

Pokemon: Detective Pikachu can be considered the first "good" video game adaptation from Hollywood. Some fans are even considering it to the first good anime adaptation as well since Pokemon is such a juggernaut in that department, with an anime series that's still going strong to this day. Fans can't wait to see more of this franchise, with a sequel and several spin-offs supposedly in the works.

In the meantime, fans can save up their paychecks/allowance and get Pokemon: Detective Pikachu on home media soon. The digital version of this movie is coming out on July 23, while those that want a physical copy will have to wait until August 6.

The movie was a great time for Pokemon fans since it put them into this amazing world and made many of us want to sell our soul so that we can end up here. In the meantime, this film is the closest thing we'll get to be in a Pokemon game, at least until Pokemon Sword & Shield come out on the Nintendo Switch.

With the film's comedy was a high point, thanks to Ryan Reynolds' ad-libbing some lines and that wonderful Mr. Mime scene, the biggest selling point of this film was the Pokemon. It's clear that the people who worked on this film love the franchise and we can't wait to see more.
