PlayStation Classic Price Down to $60 at Certain Retailer Outlets

Remember when the PlayStation Classic was announced and everyone was excited to play these old games again? Flash forward to today and now nobody wants the mini-console. It's for a lot of reasons, including average emulation and a poor choice of games (why are there so many sports and racing games?) that led to its downfall. You're better off getting the NES or SNES Classic.

However, if you're morbidly curious or just want to add it to your mini-console collection, the PlayStation Classic has already dropped to 40% in some retail outlets. This means that you can get this mini-console for $60, which is the price of a regular triple-a game on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Is it worth it though? Well, if you can get it for this price on Amazon, Best Buy, or Walmart then maybe. Keep in mind that the games chosen for the console are poor choices, aside from hits like Resident Evil 2, Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Persona, Wild Arms, and Jumping Flash. Still, when you consider how the SNES Classic has more good games then you're better off with that.

Or, you know, just buy games for your console. Games like Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War, and more are worth that price. Heck, indie titles like Hollow Knight and Dead Cells cost less and are probably better buys than the PlayStation Classic.

The PlayStation Classic is available now.
