Overwatch: First Lego Set Teaser Officially Released

Finally, months after the original announcement, we finally have our first look at the upcoming Lego figures based on Overwatch. The online shooter continues to be a big hit for Blizzard and Activision, with constant updates and new character additions that people continue to enjoy. Plus, only paying once and continuously getting free content ensured that fans would keep on coming back.

Blizzard shared a teaser video about the upcoming Lego figures and though it doesn't share much, it does seem like they will be pushing these hard. Only Tracer's figure was shown but since she is the face of Overwatch, this shouldn't be a problem for fans of the shooter and those that enjoy the online comics.

While the lack of a release date was disappointing, it's easy to assume that we will be getting more news on these figures soon. Lego is a pretty big toy brand so the fact that there will be new Overwatch figures from the company shows just how popular the game has become. If anything, fans are probably just happy that the game is getting more mainstream love.

Featuring a wide array of characters, Overwatch has become a phenomenon amongst the geek and gaming community. The game has one of the most diverse rosters ever seen in a video game and they can appeal to pretty much anyone. It's easy to see why people continue to support this series, though it would be nice if the game had some form of single-player.

Overwatch is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
