Obi-Wan Kenobi Director Tells Fans the Disney+ Series is Still in Development

Now that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian Season 1 have finished, fans are dying for some new content from a galaxy far far away. While The Mandalorian Season 2 is expected to come out this year, fans are also hoping to hear more about the Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series that doesn't have a release date yet. With confirmed reports about script rewrites, it looks like we'll have to wait a while though series director Deborah Chow has confirmed that the series is still in production.

When speaking in the ATX Festival (via ComicBook.com), Chow said that they weren't quite finished yet with the series but did confirm that things were moving along, saying: "We have a little more to do than that, but we're in development." That seems to indicate to us not seeing this series for a while though Star Wars fans do have the patience of Yoda so we'll wait for them to get this right.

Obi-Wan Kenobi does not have a release date, as of this writing. The Mandalorian Season 1 is now available on Disney+.
