Nite Owl Actor Patrick Wilson is Enjoying HBO's Watchmen

HBO's Watchmen has debuted to some great reviews, with many calling it a great mystery show that just happens to have superheroes in them. Well, "super" heroes since they don't have any powers but the description should fit them fine. While we wait for more classic superheroes to start appearing in the game, it turns out that Patrick Wilson, who plays Nite Owl in the Zack Snyder adaptation of the graphic novel, is enjoying the show.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson has stated that he has seen every episode that has come out thus far and claims that he loves the show. That's high praise coming from an actor that has been in a number of stellar movies so it's good to know that he enjoys the show. Obviously, this shouldn't be a huge surprise because everyone likes the series but it's still a neat fact.

"I'm loving it; I've seen every episode. Of course, I was curious because I had such reverence and love not only for the graphic novel and film, but the experience of making the movie."

Wilson did a pretty good job as Nite Owl in Zack Snyder's Watchmen movie so it's pretty cool to see him praise this show, which is essentially a sequel to the graphic novel and maybe even the movie. We're sure Wilson has enjoyed how the show has explored the world that Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons have created. If it does well, we wouldn't be surprised if it got a second season.

Watchmen can currently be viewed on HBO.
