New Solo: A Star Wars Story Image Puts Han in an Icy Situation

Solo: A Star Wars Story is only a month away and fans are excited to see the Star Wars spinoff. While there has been concern over the film's quality, thanks to various stories during production, the various trailers have made fans feel better. Of course, we will have to wait and see the film ourselves before passing on any judgment about its quality but it does look solid thus far.

Empire Online has now shared a new image from the film, showing Alden Ehrenreich's version of Solo in an icy situation.

This will be a part of the much-hyped Vandor Heist, with Jonathan Kasdan, the writer of Solo promising a number of unique situations that we have yet to see in Star Wars movies.

"Part of the challenge is to come up with new, inventive kinds of action we haven't seen in Star Wars. We often referenced Heat and Thief as high-end criminals doing serious jobs that involve huns and big hijackings."

Han is a known smuggler, so referencing films like Heat makes a ton of sense. Most of the Star Wars films thus far have focused on the Jedi and Resistance, so Solo could add some variety to the mix. We've already been promised a giant tentacle monster, so that should be refreshing.

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25.
