New Pokemon Sword and Shield Trailer May Have Revealed Galarian Mr. Mime

While it looks like Game Freak is done sharing secrets about Pokemon Sword and Shield, especially after a major leak revealed some of the new and returning Pokemon, we did just get a new trailer that might hint at a new Galarian form. Previous trailers have shown us Galarian Zigzagoon, who turns into a member of KISS thanks to a new evolution, and Galarian Weezing.

Now that this new trailer is out, it seems like we can add Galarian Mr. Mime in the mix. Unlike the Pokemon we're used to in the Kanto region, this one appears to be based on Charlie Chaplin since they really want to show off that UK-based setting. It's also worth noting that the body of Galarian Mr. Mime makes it more clear that this Pokemon comes from Mime Jr, which is interesting.

Considering the design of this and the original, I think Galarian Mr. Mime looks just fine. The fact that it's more apparent that it comes from Mime Jr is interesting and the Charlie Chaplin look is pretty cute. We have to wonder if there will be a type of change or addition since previous Galarian forms have added a type to the Pokemon.

Fans might still be bitter about the lack of their favorite Pokemon but it's clear that Sword and Shield will be solid JRPGs in their own right. I miss Bulbasaur too but that's no excuse to troll and harass the members of Game Freak online.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are scheduled for a November 15 release.
