The Pokemon Let’s Go games continue to garner a mixed reaction, due to how it caters to some of the more casual players out there. Many consider it a placeholder before the next mainline game comes out in late 2019 but some fans have argued that Let’s Go! Pikachu and Let’s Go! Eevee have their own merits.

Fans already know that there will be shiny Pokemon in the game, which will be easier to find when compared to the mainline games, but if the recent merchandise push is anything to go by, the two titles could also have Mega Evolutions.

Paul Ryan, the person who runs the Pokeshopper website, has confirmed that there will be new Mega Evolution figures based on Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard, and Mega Blastoise. He feels like these will lead Mega Evolutions in both games, which should be great for some of the game’s trainer battles.

Nothing has been confirmed from Nintendo or Game Freak, so fans will have to wait for a trailer and/or press release to confirm their suspicions. Still, the timing of these new figures is suspect and could be a massive hint about the next two RPGs coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Let’s Go! Eevee will come out on November 16.
